Complex Trauma

Trauma can come from many different places and experiences. It can arise from a recent dramatic event, or many in the distant past. You are not responsible for the traumatic events you endured, but you are left to manage all the challenges of recovering from those experiences.

The impact of trauma lies deep inside the body, and the unconscious part of us - so our reactions to events, people and things can sometimes appear to come from nowhere and not make sense.

Things cannot be solved by the thinking brain.

Work has to be done with the body, emotions, sensation and the 'noticing' brain.
